Other duties may be assigned. + Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned. + Keeps area neat and clean. + Read and use a tape measure. + Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures. + Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. + Repair machinery by welding pieces. + Test and inspect welding surfaces and structure to discover flaws. + Communicate well with coworkers. + Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools **Education and/or Experience** Less than high school education; or up to one- month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
