Abacus is sourcing qualified Warehouse Leads for an exciting project in Bethlehem, PA. 

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse management processes. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety standards, and driving process improvements within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in materials handling and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless e-commerce operations and distribution center functionality.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a 3PL (Third Party Logistics) environment or as a tenured warehouse associate with leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, along with warehouse management systems.
• Experience in process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with e-commerce logistics and distribution center operations is preferred.
• Ability to perform lifting and demanding tasks as required by the role.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and other departments. Bilingual preferred
