Job Overview Title: Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Department: Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Type: Travel Contract 13 Weeks Schedule: Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 5x8-Hour | 07:30 AM 5:00 PM Start Date: August 25, 2025 Job Description Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer to join its high-risk OB team. The ideal candidate must be experienced in OB/GYN imaging with fetal echocardiography expertise and must hold ARDMS OB/GYN and NT certification . This position involves performing detailed ultrasound studies on high-risk obstetrical patients, with a strong emphasis on diagnostic accuracy, patient care, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities: Perform 7 9 detailed OB/GYN and high-risk fetal ultrasounds daily Report findings directly to Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians (3-MFM team) Assist physicians with procedures such as: Amniocentesis Amnio reduction Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) Percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS) Conduct fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiograms, and nuchal translucency screenings Utilize GE ultrasound equipment and document using EPIC and PACS systems Support patients and families during high-risk diagnostic imaging Maintain equipment and manage scan room logistics across Sacred Heart and Holy Family facilities Ensure compliance with safety, confidentiality, and clinical standards Key Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine or High-Risk OB required ARDMS OB/GYN certification required NT Certification (Nuchal Translucency) required Fetal echo competency required BLS certification required EPIC experience required Outpatient and OB-GYN scanning background required Must be able to start ASAP no start date delays 3 interview time slots (with time zones) must be submitted with profile required for consideration No weekends, nights, or major holidays Must confirm if clinician is a true traveler or open to temp-to-perm hire No pending licenses must be active at submission Floating may be required within scope Qualifications Education: ~ Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Experience: At least 2 years of OB/GYN and high-risk ultrasound imaging in a clinical setting Experience assisting with maternal-fetal procedures such as amniocentesis and fetal assessments License/Certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN required NT Certification required BLS Certification required Fetal Echo experience required Skills: OB/GYN scanning: 1st 3rd trimester scans Fetal anatomical survey Fetal measurements: AC, bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, etc. Placenta previa, umbilical cord Doppler, gender ID Renal/Pelvis: Transvaginal, uterus, ovaries Proficient with: GE equipment, EPIC, PACS Assisting with invasive procedures ~ Strong interpersonal skills with ability to support high-risk OB patients ATD Technology, LLC is a certified minority woman owned business that creates opportunities to match qualified individuals with client programs while meeting all parties' financial and technical goals.
