South University, the right direction for a brighter future. POSITION SUMMARY: The Course Proctor manages and oversees courses broadcast into campus locations virtually. Responsibilities include preparing classrooms, setting up technology per manuals and instructions, accessing the Learning Management System (Brightspace), and ensuring the functionality of live video via Kaltura. The proctor will verify audio/video quality before classes, stay with students during the session, record attendance at the start, and send attendance data to the instructor at the end. KEY JOB ELEMENTS: Prepare technology for course proctoring. Follow guides for effective virtual course delivery. Operate classroom projection systems. Ensure audio and video are functioning correctly. Complete and display the Student Sign-In Sheet. Remain with students throughout the session. Report attendance to the instructor after each class. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or higher. Proficient with Learning Management Systems and related technology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, administrative, and self-motivation skills. Computer skills including MS Office and LMS platforms.
