Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. The Coordinator, Talent & Casting will report to the SVP, Casting & Talent for NBCUniversal's Entertainment division and will support talent elements for NBC, Peacock, and Bravo programming. Responsibilities: + Support SVP in Unscripted & Scripted Talent efforts for the Universal Television Entertainment Group + Manage heavy phones, meetings, and calendars, coordinating travel and expenses + Support day-to-day operations, including tracking the status of projects across the company while collaborating with cross-functional teams + Maintain various department grids + Operate conference room systems and remote VC applications to share materials during meetings + Create Talent presentations, utilizing researched photo and video assets + Develop relationships with Talent and their representatives, always ensuring professionalism and great customer service + Complete other casting and administrative duties as assigned Basic Requirements: + Bachelor's degree + 1+ years of experience in Television Programming + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, iMovie or another video editing application + Prior experience editing/trimming video + Willing and able to attend casting and talent-related events after hours and/or on weekends Desired Characteristics: + Previous experience with a casting office, network, studio, production company, or Talent booking company preferred + Avid TV/content consumer, passionate about the entertainment industry + Brings a high level of professionalism to all interactions, particularly when engaging with Talent, agents, and senior executives. + Exceptionally organized, with a proactive approach to anticipating team needs and delivering creative, timely solutions. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. + Skilled at navigating a variety of communication styles and managing expectations across creative and executive teams. + Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple high-priority projects + Thrives in high-performing, deadline-driven setting, maintaining composure and focus under pressure. Additional Requirements: + Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
