Job Description

Work Environment: Professional Office Setting, Business Casual Attire

Key Responsibilities:

Contact constituents or complainants to gather and discuss details of filed complaints.
Review and interpret relevant Florida statutes to assess and analyze each complaint.
Clearly communicate findings and outcomes to the public, demonstrating strong customer service at all times.
Inform complainants if a case falls outside the Division's jurisdiction and explain reasons for case closure.
Provide appropriate referrals or resources when applicable.
Draft formal written responses for supervisor approval and send final correspondence to complainants.
Accurately close cases by entering relevant codes, activities, and statute references into the Versa system.
Maintain thorough documentation of all actions taken using the OnBase system.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret Florida statutes accurately.
Prior experience interacting with the public in a professional setting.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Reliable and committed to meeting project deadlines.
