The operation's commitment to utilizing advanced technologies and sustainable practices strongly emphasizes safety and environmental stewardship. Located in southeastern Arizona, close to more than 4 million acres of national forest, employees and their families can connect with the great outdoors while fishing, rafting, hiking and more. Several educational institutions also are nearby, including a Northern Arizona University satellite campus, Eastern Arizona College, and the Gila Institute for Technology.   **What You Will Do** + Responsible for performing basic electrical or other maintenance activities. Perform duties related to basic electrical or other industrial maintenance activities. Assist Journeyman and others in the install and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. + Meet all requirements of electrical/instrumentation apprenticeship program to include classroom/correspondence education, competency requirements and work process hours. + Responsible for performing the following under direct electrical/instrumentation supervision: + Perform necessary electrical maintenance tasks on high/medium and low voltage power systems. + Install, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on electric and instrumentation systems. + Install, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. + Able to successfully complete all academic and on-the-job requirements, competencies and hours of the apprenticeship program. + Perform other duties as required. **What You Bring To Freeport** + Must pass the qualifying math test. + Previous experience demonstrating mechanical / electrical aptitude. + Effective written, verbal and communication skills to satisfy testing, training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company. + Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English. + Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards. **Preferred Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent **What We Offer You**   The estimated pay range for this role is currently  **$19.00-$26.00** . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
